January 30, 2025 TTOC grammar booklets

Silent read for 20 minutes. Students have their own personal read books.

Take attendance. 

Please hand out grammar workbooks, - these are located on the far right hand side underneath the windows in a blue basket. 

Please have students complete the booklets. Some students may request to go upstairs to their resource spaces. Please call ahead to ensure that there is space. Phone list located behind teachers desk, yellow sheet on sa with magnet. 

Students will notice larger written sections throughout the booklets. Those are not required. The sections that are required are the grammar update sections.

Silent Read 20 min - (H - Ch 4/5 Quiz 8). Review of Ch 1 Vocab Into the Wild. - last day.  Chapter 2 & 3 Audio Book. Chapter 2 and 3 Vocab. - Time to complete & review. Attendance - located in the brown binder - lower left drawer teacher desk - please send EA with list of any absences to the front office. Silent Read 20 min - students have their own personal novels for this. Next: Into the Wild Timeline Project  Lesson Objectives: By the end of this lesson, students will be able to: Understand the structure  of  Into the Wild  (non-linear narrative) and how the author uses flashbacks and varying timelines. Create a visual timeline  of key events from Chapters 1-9. Students be sure to leave space for future chapter timeline entries please. Write creatively  in the style of  Into the Wild , incorporating non-linear techniques to tell a part of the story.
