Pink Shirt Day - Written Prep The meaning of Pink Shirt Day and its connection to creating a safe and inclusive school culture—not just for one day, but every day. Every classroom will receive pink slips for students to write down positive words or short phrases.  For example, students can write things like, "I will respect others' differences," "Kindness matters," or "I will smile at others." Students can also write just one word reflecting how they should treat their peers, or ways others treat them that make them feel good. Students reflect and write their thoughts. The slips will be collected before lunch on Wednesday and used in a collaborative activity during lunch led by the Leadership class. Start of class.  Review Grammar Workbook - student marks and review.  Feb 20 & 21 Intro and work on-  Independent Writing Assignment - Mountain Men.  > inside of Teams. This can be worked on only if students have completed their grammar workbook.

Take attendance. Attendance located in Brown binder bottom left-hand side drawer of teacher desk. Silent Read 20 min. Students have their own individual personal read books to read.
